In a jury trial, the plaintiff Sacha meets with her lawyer Bill, accompanied by her sibling Linda. Both women express frustration over the jury's inability to reach a verdict. Linda suspects that a particular juror, Juror 11, is voting against the majority and has a negative impression of him. Bill advises them to trust the legal process but warns that they could still lose the case.

Determined to influence the outcome, Linda devises a plan. The next day, she encounters Juror 11, Seth, near the courthouse and feigns a chance meeting. By pretending to be interested in him, Linda gains his attention and claims to be writing an article about the trial for her college newspaper. This leads to Seth inviting her to his home for further discussion. At his home, the conversation reveals Seth's wish for the trial to conclude so he can return to his normal life, confirming he is the juror delaying the verdict. This realization prompts Linda to take action to persuade Seth to change his decision regarding the case.
