A young boy named Satoshi embarks on a journey to become a "e;Pokémon Master"e; with his first Pokémon, Pikachu. Joining him on his travels are Takeshi, a girl-obsessed Rock Pokemon Trainer, and Kasumi, a tomboyish Water Pokémon Trainer who may have a crush on him. Satoshi and Co. end up traveling through various regions, including Kanto, the Orange Islands, and Johto, and then enter the Pokémon League competitions there. Along the way, they run into many confrontations with Musashi, Kojirou, and Nyarth, a trio of Pokémon thieves who are apart of an evil organization called "e;Team Rocket"e;. But everytime Team Rocket try to do their evil deeds, they fail thanks to Satoshi and his Pokémon.

Several episodes were never dubbed and only aired in Japan. They are still part of the TVDB list, and included in this collection as the following:

Season 1 episode 18 "e;Beauty and the Beach"e; - banned in the United States due to James of Team Rocket wearing fake breasts to win a beauty contest. The rest of the episode was eventually dubbed and allowed to air with this scene cut. I have included a version that is the English dub up until the scene in question, where it has been edited to briefly switch to the original Japanese audio with hardcoded English subtitles. Once the scene ends, it returns to the English audio.

Season 1 episode 35 "e;The Legend of Dritini"e; - banned in almost all countries outside of Japan for the pervasive use of firearms, including several instances of a gun being pointed directly at Ash's head. Included with Japanese audio and hardcoded English subtitles.

Season 1 episode 38 "e;Electric Soldier Porygon"e; - !MAJOR SEIZURE WARNING! this episode was banned due to aggressive flashing red and blue lights during the last half of the episode that caused seizures in hundreds of Japanese children. I have still included it for archival purposes, but PLEASE take the warning seriously. I have no history of seizures and even I got a headache. I labeled the file itself with SEIZURE WARNING in the title.
The flashing lights begin during the action sequence at 16:00 minutes. They continue on and off until the worst happens at 19:00 minutes, and they end at 19:20. If you have any risk of seizures at all or even suspect that you might be, and you still want to watch this episode, skip this entire section. Skip everything from 16 minutes to 19 minutes and 20 seconds. Japanese audio with hardcoded English subtitles.

Season 5 episode 41 "e;The Ice Cave"e; - Banned due to controversy regarding the Pokemon Jynx and its resemblance to offensive racist caricatures. Included with the original Japanese audio and hardcoded English subtitles.
