NOTES
Demuxed with latest DGDemux and w/ merge DV function. Due to the best audio being at 23.976, it was changed with eac3to to 23.976 and used latest dovi_tool to mux both BL and EL at 23.976, and demuxed again to check. The DV FEL already has cm v4.0.
Now the big reason for it, the 5.1 on the UHD is just a remix, sounding echoey and muffled, a badly done one with wrong pitch (still at 25 fps speedup pitch), not the first time Studio Canal botches or supplies botched audio from PAL masters, the list is extense, they really murdered a lot of audios and should've been sent to alcatraz... The previous ones also supplied by Studio Canal but distributed by Universal in Europe and the GER Blu-ray previously released also have Stereos with wrong pitch. Thankfully the Warners on USA territory got always the proper stereo sr mix at right pitch (either be the DVD in 1999 as the Blu-ray in 2012), and was synced to the remux.
Not only the actors like for e.g. Christian Slater have "e;chipmunk"e; voices, but the music cues and the fantastic score by Christopher Young is completely botched on said releases.
Samples
Commentary was slowdown to 23.976, but I couldn't change the pitch, since the audio was mixed with the cinematographer voice as right pitch.
PGS from uhd were changed to 23.976 fps, but still discarded the English one - which in any of the releases is American US spelling - due to the errors on the PGS, like "e;infonnation"e;, "e;andi"e;. The other on universal doesn't have the errors, also included alternate from the Warners, both SDH. All subs were synced and tonemapped to same % as the UHD ones. Same for srts.
Named chapters sync to the best available frames either P/I-frames.
Screenshots have been tonemapped for reference
