NOTES
Demuxed with latest DGDemux and w/ merge DV function. Used the english version this time, giving an option for those who want it, as this has english credits, completely different takes throughout the movie and english soundtrack which most of the actor lend their voices to it.
As like the german version, the Shout Factory is the best, as it's still filmic, while the BFI used the infamous AI ridden master of alpha omega company, for e.g. on comparison #5, one can see the horrific mangling of the AI gone rogue, hallucinating and creating a sort of map on the wall behind Bruno Ganz.
On #7, shot from a real location the AI re-created a matte painting on the BFI; in sum a terrible fake sharpness that creates a lot of fake detail and it's jarring in motion. So obviously the Shout video was chosen. Comparisons
English mono from Shout Factory UHD, it was truly 24-bit and slight more dynamic range than the BFI, while BFI is 16 bit padded, the Shout has a slight stereoization, but it's really mono, but kept it as dual mono.
Added option for american or british spelling, since the GBR UHD had SDH sub (synced and tonemapped to same % as USA UHD). It had however some mistakes that were corrected on srts. Named chapters synced I-frames of the remux.
Screenshots have been tonemapped for reference
