[*]While director Radford and producer Perry commissioned the composer Dominic Muldowney to compose a classic film score, the producing studio Virgin had some concerns about the success in the cinema. That's why the then emerging Eurythmics were commissioned to compose a film score. Radford and Perry decided in the end that Muldowney's score was the desired and appropriate, while Virgin made use of his right to the "e;final cut"e; and distributed the version with the Eurythmics contributions. Therefore, the Dominic Muldowney score has been chosen as the default score in the remux. Both audio scores were picked from the Criterion BD as they were mono compared to the dual-mono from Rimini or to the dual-mono from Capelight. The other discs turned out to offer nothing better.

[*]The English PGS subtitles from Criterion do not have the song "e;Julia"e; (sang by the Eurythmics in the credits), while the subtitles from MGM and Umbrella do. The latter have the "e;Oceania"e; theme song in addition. In that sense, the Criterion English subtitles are more suited for the Dominic Muldowney score, while the MGM and Umbrella subtitles are meant for the Eurythmics score. The English subtitles from Capelight are identical to those from Criterion except that they are regular subtitles, while Criterion's are SDH subtitles.
