The series explores how the men overcame racial prejudice whilst breaking down barriers for black British athletes, as they transitioned into the mainstream media. The heated rivalries between the boxers turned nasty as half a billion people tuned in to see them settle their differences in the ring in the biggest week in British boxing history. An intimate insight into the boxers' lives reveal how they battled their own demons, throughout their careers and in retirement, and their struggles with mental health issues and the cost of the sacrifices made in order to create a legacy and pave the way and for those who follow in their footsteps.

1. Rise of the Kings
Documents the story of Frank Bruno, who is a beloved athlete and the first Black British boxer to compete for the World Heavyweight title.

2. The Battle for Britain
The popularity of boxing skyrockets in Britain as Benn battles Eubank and Lewis fights Bruno, however, a shocking moment makes the world stop and contemplate.

3. Off the Ropes
Bruno, Benn, Eubank and Lewis have all put British boxing right at the top of world stage, but personally they pay the price. Lewis is defeated, Eubank is forced to retire, Benn's life is plagued by crime and Bruno's mental health worsens.

4. Echoes of the Past
Bruno, Benn and Eubank are retired and Lewis is the only one left fighting. His upcoming battle is a significant one and, if victorious, he would become Britain's first undisputed champion.
