About:

Main Plot: You&ll assume the role of a divorced father who hasn't seen his daughter in years. Now that she's 18 years old, she contacts you and tells you that she would like to have a “father-daughter” date with you. You&ll have the chance to get to know your daughter better, build a special relationship and why not, maybe convince her to have more “father-daughter” dates with you in the future.

Gameplay: You&ll be making choices between two or more decisions that will negatively or positively affect the outcome of the date and the main story as well.
There are two stats (at the moment) in the game: Friendship and Love. You can see them at the top right corner of the screen.
Every time you make a choice, you&ll win or lose a point (sometimes more than one) depending on the decision you make. For example, if you choose to stare at your daughter&s ass and she catches you, you&ll lose 1 friendship point.
You&ll have to get a certain amount points to advance in the game. If you fail, you&ll have to repeat the date.

Characters: You can choose your name as well as your daughter's name.There will be secondary characters like your ex-wife, your daughter's best friend, your coworkers, etc. but the main focus will be on F/D content.
Most fetishes are optional so if you're not into some of them, you can choose to disable them.

We&re back with the start of the last chapter of Dating My Daughter - Chapter 4 (The Finale!)

It&s been a very long journey for us to get to this point, but at long last, we can see an end to the story of Dating My Daughter, our debut game.

For four and a half years, my team and I have created, written, persisted, and stressed out over a visual novel that when I began making it, I&d never envisioned DMD to become as popular as it has over this time.

It amazes me the love and the support that this visual novel still has, and how attached fans have become with not only Dee, but also Elena, Jennifer, Georgina, and various other characters. Even some of you have shown your support for Dee&s mother, Rachel! LOL!

But like with most stories, they eventually have to come to an end, and we&re eternally grateful to everyone who has supported us over this time and for giving us a chance of making all of this possible, when at various times it looked like we&d never be able to give the game the conclusion it deserves.

We can&t promise that every fantasy, idea, or fetish that&s been suggested to us will make it into this final chapter before DMD ends but we&ll do our very best to cover all grounds. And if any idea doesn&t end up in the story, some of these things could feature in the many alternate scenes that we have planned for our bonus scene gallery (we&ll have more info on that closer to the end of the game).

About the final chapter

As we mentioned during our first preview post for v30, this update isn&t as long as usual releases, and that&s down to a few reasons:

We want to get more updates out this year from both games to you. We&ll see how that goes.We wanted to go back to basics as we did during the first couple of years when we were creating DMD, where we put updates out more frequently.We&ve only spent four weeks working on it since Sunshine Love V5 was released.

However, the closer we get to the end of the game/story, the more time we&ll spend on each update (5-6 weeks usually, maybe more for those final few updates).

Once DMD is completed, then we can fully focus on one game at a time, something we&ve really wanted to do for a fair while now.

Past circumstances as most of you know, haven&t made that possible.

For those of you who are on any of the extra paths (e.g. Elena+Dee, Georgina+Dee, Martin/F sharing), the back end of this update will contain scenes and pathways that give away some ideas of how the side characters will feature in this final chapter.

This could include things like:

what they will do for workwhere they&re going to livehow they will remain important in the lives of F and Dhow living with one or more of the side characters could possibly workwhen some of the characters will return to Seaside, if ever?

And then there are questions relating to your relationship with your daughter:
what will the results be from the doctors after D confessed to you that she could be pregnant?how and where will you be able to legally be wed to your daughter? Is it even possible?now that Dee isn&t modelling anymore, what does the future hold for the two of you?

Not all of the characters from the first three chapters will feature in this last part of the story, and that&s mainly because their story has run its course for us.
However, they may pop up again after we&ve finished the story side of the game, in a bonus or alternate scene, similar to what we created for Melody.

We also have various endings mapped out and some of these conclusions may happen a few updates out from the very last version of the game,
just so we have time to fit them all in. Putting all the endings into the very last update of the game is just not feasible, as we also found when making Melody.

Changes we&ve made

You will be able to automatically transfer all your details from the end of Chapter 3 to the start of Chapter 4, with the very last save that you made in the previous Chapter.

IMPORTANT: If you use a save from Chapter 3, then it&s important to know if Dee took her birth control pills before a phone call from Cassandra on Day 41, because once you start Chapter 4, you will not be able to change your decision.

If you selected “Take the pill”, then later on in Chapter 4, you will have the option to either try for a baby with your daughter or not.
If you selected “Answer the phone”, then Dee will fall pregnant at some point before the game ends.

So be sure to check which option you picked on the morning of Day 41 for your daughter.

NOTE: If you DON&T use a save from Chapter 3, then you will be required to manually put in your answers during the questionnaire
(before starting the new update), similar to what was needed at the start of Chapters 1 and 2.

One of those questions will be:

If you choose YES, then later on in Chapter 4, you will have the option to either try for a baby with your daughter or not.
If you choose NO, then Dee will fall pregnant at some point before the game ends.

Be sure to choose wisely here, because once you start Chapter 4, you will not be able to change your decision.

For anyone who wants to stay on the Martin/F sharing path, there are a few things you may need to do before starting Chapter 4.

If you use a save from the end of Ch3, then you will have to make sure that before the end of the last chapter, that you:
have the Martin/F Sharing path set to “Yes”.chose “Ask Martin” to keep an eye out for D at the competition afterparty on Day 42.chose “Have sex with D” during the mansion room scene with D and F.

If you fail to do these three things, then the Martin/F sharing path will not continue after Day 45.

If you DON&T use a save from the end of Ch3, then you will be required to manually enter in your answers for three questions regarding Martin.
The answers you need to choose if you want the Martin/F sharing path to continue are in BOLD BLUE below.

They will be:
Are you on the Martin/F Sharing path? Yes / NoWho did F and Georgina ask to keep an eye out for D at the afterparty? Ruby / MartinWhat did D do with Martin? oral pleasures / Have sex

Naturally, you can change the Martin/F sharing path from Yes to No (or vice-versa) in the Relationships menu whenever you want to.

Available in the Settings menu

for those that have the walkthrough, there is an option to enable an “In-Game Walkthrough” in the Settings menu.

When choices come up onto the screen there will be details (shown in yellow) to let you know what the best choices are to make
for extra love points, bonus scenes, or scenes with other characters.

there is also an option to enable or disable animations in the game.

Thanks to anyone who sent me or any of my team any errors that you found in the game.
With not much of a break in between working on both VN&s, we sometimes don&t have the time to go back and fix certain problems which is why this revision month is in place (to give us a chance to do that).
