Deepfake - Hayley Orrantia - Originally Scarlett Alexis - VR
The project began with the creation of a celebrity deepfake, initially focusing on one performer but pivoted upon discovering a strong facial resemblance between Hayley Orrantia and Scarlett Alexis. After producing six test videos, the best result was chosen for editing.
Orrantia, known for her role as the older sister in the sitcom "The Goldbergs," is noted to be 30 years old, having been 19 when the show debuted. Despite concerns about her age, it is clarified that she is of legal age, and her physical attributes closely match those of Alexis. The source material for the deepfake was selected from a video titled "The Art Of Love Making," featuring a straightforward plot that lends itself well to the deepfake format. However, the original video contained minimal oral content, which posed challenges due to mismatches in facial structure between the two performers. To address this, a photo manipulation technique was utilized to create a suitable mouth for oral scenes, resulting in a short but effective addition. The final edited video was 22 minutes and 14 seconds long, making up approximately 41% of the original’s runtime. Although this is below the desired length of 60%, the project included all essential positions despite some technical limitations inherent to VR deepfaking. Editing involved smoothing transitions and addressing visual glitches, including mascara stretching and facial blemishes caused by lighting inconsistencies. The final cut featured a mix of sexual positions and emphasized clarity, aligning with the preferences for VR adult content. The creator expressed satisfaction with the outcome, appreciating the playful aspect of deepfake work, particularly with lesser-known celebrities. There was also a discussion about the nature of the content created, emphasizing that it is intended for enjoyment without malice or political motivations.
A disclaimer highlighted that the work is consumer-level quality, differing from more advanced techniques that require extensive time and resources. The creator's engagement in this hobby is balanced with other commitments, limiting the volume of projects produced.
