She has claimed that Playboy interfered with her career following her departure. Besides modeling, she had a minor role in NBC's Miami Vice and appeared in films like Predator 2 and Marked for Death. Weigel also starred as "Jade" on Married... with Children and became the second Playmate to perform in hardcore pornography in 1991, following Susan Kiger.

Additionally, she was one of the first Playmates to appear in Penthouse magazine.
