Alek Lindqvist eagerly anticipates claiming his prize, Maya Strome, as compensation for her father's debts. Upon arriving on shore, Alek and his crew are infuriated to learn that Maya's father has tried to deceive them by offering another woman instead. In a fit of rage, Alek orders his crew to invade the village, resulting in the deaths of the men and the destruction of the settlement as they search for Maya. Ultimately, she is captured and taken aboard the ship, where she is forced into servitude under Alek, who intends to assert his dominance over her.
