A simple Skullhead scan provides a collection of vintage magazine scans that, while not considered pornography by modern standards, were seen as risqué during their time. The content primarily features non-nude "cheesecake" imagery, although some models may appear nude in other publications.

The magazines include a mix of articles and photographs, with an emphasis on the latter. The scans were created using a large format scanner, aiming for a balance between quality and file size. In later issues, particularly from the 1980s onward, pages that are entirely advertisements are often omitted to reduce file size, as they can constitute a significant portion of the magazine's content. Each magazine scan requires approximately an hour to complete, including correction, cropping, and conversion. As some scans have been resold online, watermarks have been added to discourage unauthorized use. All models featured are stated to be at least 18 years old at the time of the magazine's production.
