A naive aspiring actress, fresh from the Midwest, arrives in Hollywood seeking opportunities. She discovers a grocery store flyer advertising low-cost headshots, which seems like a solution to her struggle to find an agent and secure auditions. Initially, the photographer appears professional, with a proper studio and equipment. During the photoshoot, the atmosphere shifts as the photographer becomes increasingly aggressive, offering her additional opportunities for "extra money" through boudoir photography. Despite her initial hesitation, she proceeds with the shoot. As the session progresses, she becomes disoriented from the bright flashes and the photographer's repetitive speech, eventually falling into a trance-like state. Under his control, she is coerced into performing explicit acts, believing it to be part of an audition for Hollywood. After the encounter, she is abruptly brought back to reality, experiencing shock and disgust at her situation. However, the photographer manipulates her perception, suggesting that such experiences are essential for success in the industry. Ultimately, her desire for fame alters her attitude, leading her to embrace the photographer's proposition, marking a troubling shift in her aspirations to become a star.
