Resin is sent to confront Goldfinch, who appeals to Silver Sparrow's past identity, successfully breaking the enchantment. Reunited, they devise a plan to defeat Madame Midnight. Silver Sparrow pretends to comply with Madame Midnight's orders, leaving Goldfinch stunned, while she distracts Madame Midnight. During this distraction, Madame Midnight becomes involved with Silver Sparrow, but ultimately, she traps Silver Sparrow in an energy field after their encounter, preparing for Goldfinch's return.
